Essential storage
Captionit uses browser storage required for sign-in, security, language, and core preferences. Disabling essential storage may prevent account features from working.
Optional Mixpanel analytics
Optional analytics initialize only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Data is sent to Captionit’s EU Mixpanel project. Denying analytics does not disable core features.
- Allowed: pseudonymous account identifier, controlled event names, product surface, feature, plan/status supplied by the trusted server, coarse duration buckets, counts, app and host versions, and sanitized error codes.
- Never allowed: email, name, filename, file path, audio or video, transcript or caption text, prompt, support message, tokens, payment-card data, checkout URL, Session Replay URL, or raw exception text.
Session Replay
Replay is a separate rollout gate. If enabled, it is limited to approved public pages and no more than 1% of consenting sessions. All text and inputs are masked. Media, canvas, account, billing, support, transcript, and editor surfaces are blocked.
Your choice
You can allow or deny optional analytics at any time. Use the button below to reopen the preference panel. On denial, analytics persistence and replay are stopped.
Retention and rights
Analytics is used to understand aggregate product adoption and reliability. For access, deletion, or export questions, email hello@captionit.art.
